Role Title: Virtual Relationship Manager – Distributor Channel
Location: Mumbai
Role Purpose:
The Virtual Relationship Manager (VRM) will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs) through virtual engagement. The role focuses on increasing AUM, driving SIP flows, improving activation, and enhancing distributor productivity through consistent communication, product support, and service coordination.
This role plays a critical part in expanding reach in the emerging distributor segment through structured engagement and scalable coverage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Distributor Relationship Management
  • Manage a mapped set of MFDs across locations
  • Build strong engagement through regular calls, virtual meetings, and follow-ups
  • Understand distributor business and identify growth opportunities
  • Resolve distributor queries in coordination with operations / service team
2. Business Development
  • Drive SIP registrations, gross sales, and net inflows
  • Increase share of business with mapped distributors
  • Support cross-sell across Equity, Hybrid, Passive, and Fixed Income products
3. Activation & Coverage
  • Activate dormant distributors and increase productivity of existing partners
  • Improve SIP book and transaction frequency
  • Ensure regular contact with mapped distributors
4. Campaign & Initiative Execution
  • Drive participation in Distributor Success initiatives & growth marketing
  • Promote digital platforms, tools, and investor solutions
  • Support special initiatives for emerging distributors
5. Reporting & Discipline
  • Maintain call reports, activity tracker, and pipeline updates
  • Track AUM, SIP, and sales data for mapped partners
  • Follow defined engagement cadence
Desired Candidate Profile
  • 1–4 years of experience in Mutual Fund / BFSI / Inside Sales / Relationship Management
  • Good understanding of Mutual Funds / Financial Products preferred
  • Strong communication and convincing skills
  • Comfortable with phone-based / virtual selling
  • NISM VA certification
