Assistant Manager - Portfolio Analytics & Attribution

The primary responsibility of the role is to support portfolio analytics and attribution team.

1. Risk and Performance Analytics - Work with various data sources to measure and report  investment performance, peer group comparison, risk ratios, portfolio liquidity analytics, performance attribution analysis

2. Updating periodic risk and performance dashboard utilised in investment and risk committee meetings, board meetings.

3. Preparing, monitoring and reporting of compliance and regulatory requirements with respect to investment performance and portfolio positioning.

4. Investment due diligence - Collaborate with internal business groups and portfolio managers in providing information related to investment performance, attribution, liquidity and risk metrics for completing ongoing and potential client or new product due diligences.

5. Digitisation/Automation - Work with technology/development teams to automate routine tasks and build risk and performance dashboard. Coordinating with digitisation team to  ensure monthly portfolio and  performance data updation on website.

Skills & Competencies Required

a. 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in financial services industry, preferably in Portfolio Management support functions.
b. Performance measurement, attribution and different asset class product knowledge.
c. CA/ Master’s Degree or equivalent preferred
d. FRM/CIPM/CFA certifications, any level is an added advantage
e. Strong interpersonal skills including ability to organize and track multiple tasks in parallel, delivery on tight timelines, and a hands-on approach to resolving issues
f. Ability to present and describe analytics, excellent communication skills (including writing, verbal, and presentation)
g. Strong team player: ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different functions and regions
h. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
