CA Industrial Trainee – ETF Investment Support (Passive Investments)

About the Role
DSP Mutual Fund's Passive Investment Desk is looking for a CA trainee who wants to work at the intersection of live markets, index strategies, and technology, not shadow from the sidelines.
You'll support real investment decisions, build automation tools, and work directly with data systems across Equity, Fixed Income, and Commodities ETFs.
What You'll Do
Markets & Dealing
- Monitor live ETF prices and bid offer spreads in coordination with Market Makers
- React to real-time order flow and news across the passive portfolio
Automation & Analytics
- Build Python tools to streamline dealing, reporting, and corporate action tracking
- Develop dashboards and analytical modules for internal and management reporting
Research & Strategy
- Research global passive investment ideas and index-linked strategies
- Support ideation and launch of new ETFs in collaboration with index providers
Governance & Client Support
- Manage the Proxy Voting process for portfolio companies
- Assist sales teams with client queries, product presentations, and ETF content
Who Should Apply
- CA Intermediate / IPCC cleared; eligible for ICAI Industrial Training
- Strong Python skills; comfortable with MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Genuine interest in capital markets, ETFs, and passive strategies
- Bloomberg experience is a plus; exposure to statistics or AI is an advantage
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning tasks independently
