What is the objective of the role?


The primary objective of this role is to support the Senior Investment Strategists in all elements of the function.


1. Conceptualize and create presentations for a variety of needs like pitching to new institutional clients, explaining our fund positioning, market update PPTs for Portfolio Managers, event specific presentations like budget, sector updates etc.


2. Update & maintain existing presentations, team profiles, annual notes, quarterly notes, attribution reports, board packs etc.


3. Interpret data independently to create portfolio performance commentary and charts.


4. Assist in answering interview questions in media articles, journals, magazines, wealth managers, family offices, Independent Financial Advisers etc.


5. Improve our visibility and brand recall digitally with quality content.


6. Domestic and offshore query handling – attribution, performance, holdings data, macro commentary, ad-hoc commentaries/questionnaires.


7. Coordinate institutional client requests for data, due diligence questions, presentations, reports, factsheets, competitor analysis etc. with relevant teams / external parties for the hedge fund, UCITS and other funds.


8. Monthly commentaries and attribution for offshore strategies.


9. Source and build a repository of all relevant materials (slides, reports, data points, performance files) like from MSCI, legal counsel, distribution partners etc.

What is the prior experience needed?


We are looking for a candidate with 3 to 4 years relevant experience.

What qualifications you should have?

1. Finance degree, CFA qualifications advantageous (possibly post-graduates)
2. Advanced PowerPoint & Excel skills.
3. Knowledge of basic coding / technology / Morningstar / MFI explorer / Bloomberg etc. is useful to analyse large data sets
