About the Role
We are looking for a Relationship Manager to strengthen and scale our Mutual Fund distribution business across large private banks, leading wealth counters, and senior MF decision makers in the Kolkata region. This role is pivotal in expanding DSP’s footprint by building meaningful, revenue-driving relationships and delivering long-term asset growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive Mutual Fund sales through Private Banks, Wealth Management desks, National Distributors across the Kolkata territory.
• Build, deepen, and manage high-quality relationships with senior fund managers, channel heads, and key influencers.
• Conduct regular client engagements to understand requirements, provide product insights, and support portfolio discussions.
• Expand market share by developing high-conviction engagement plans for priority partners.
• Deliver consistent incremental net sales and help build robust long-term assets.
• Track competitor activity, gather market intelligence, and relay insights for strategic decision-making.
• Execute territory sales plans, own revenue targets, and ensure timely reporting and compliance adherence.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, mutual funds, and distribution ecosystem.
• Ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders internal and external.
• Strong analytical approach, problem-solving mindset, and proactive relationship-building ability.
• NISM VA certified or willingness to complete before joining.
Experience
• Minimum 5+ years in Mutual Fund Distribution Sales or Wealth/BFSI channels, with proven experience managing large private bank relationships.
Qualification
• Graduate/Post Graduate from a recognized institution.
